Micro filters remove harmful oil/water condensate, pipe scale, dirt and rust from compressed air systems. Micro filters are used as pre-filters to coalescing filters to insure high efficiency and long element life in applications such as spray painting, instrumentation and pharmaceuticals. WARNING: For compressed air service only. Not to be used on life support systems or breathing air systems. Never use polycarbonate plastic bowls on air supplied by a compressor lubricated with synthetic oils or oil containing phosphate esters or chlorinate hydrocarbons. They can carry over into the air distribution systems and chemically attack and possibly rupture the bowls. For these applications use a metal bowl. Materials such as trichloroethylene, acetone, paint thinner or cleaning fluids will craze and/ or rupture a polycarbonate bowl.
